Simply, it means actively to manage our own time to be more valuable and make our lives more prosperous. It can help us think about the directions for our future and prepare well in advance, so that we can reach our goals more easily.</p><p class="rtejustify"><img data-entity-uuid="a0c60e51-e7a7-4804-bbc3-9ee2e2656bf4" data-entity-type="file" src="/sites/default/files/inline-images/event-book-exhibition-18-content-quote-1.jpg" width="1200" height="600" alt="event-book-exhibition-18-content-quote-1"></p><p class="rtejustify content">As the proverb says, <em><strong>"Spring is the time for making planning of a year and as morning is the time for making planning of a day"</strong></em>. Before making a practical career plan for your life, you should have asked yourself what kind of life you want. However, in fact, not many people really know the answer. To find the answer, most importantly, you should constantly reflect yourself, discover your strengths, and understand your interests before setting your life direction. Hence, it is recommended that you should deeply explore yourself and write down all your beliefs. Accordingly, you can have a realistic career planning for your life.</p><p class="rtejustify"><img data-entity-uuid="2f383aa3-6694-4ccd-8974-9c7415765efd" data-entity-type="file" src="/sites/default/files/inline-images/event-book-exhibition-18-content-quote-2.jpg" width="1200" height="600" alt="event-book-exhibition-18-content-quote-2"></p><p class="rtejustify content">There are three mottos of career planning: <em><strong>"If you have a plan, you won't be busy. If you have a budget, you won't worry. If you have confidence, you won't panic"</strong></em>. These are the most important principles when making career planning.</p><p class="rtejustify content">How can we have a wonderful life? For certain, we need to effectively make plans, cautiously take actions, and whole-heartedly experience over the course of our lives. Is it "life is too short" or "life is too long"? No matter whether life is long or short, as we are living, we should enrich our lives with meaningful purposes. Then, our lives will be complete without regrets.</p><h5>Further Reading</h5><ul><li><a href="https://www.ted.com/talks/sarah_ellis_and_helen_tupper_the_best_career_path_isn_t_always_a_straight_line" target="_blank">The Best Career Path isn't Always a Straight Line</a></li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpE_W50OTUc" target="_blank">Carla Harris: How to Find the Person Who Can Help You Get Ahead at Work</a></li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9b0fi7p3Ts" target="_blank">Shane Lopez: The Secrets of People Who Love Their Jobs</a></li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GQZuzIdeQQ" target="_blank">Ruth Chang: How to Make Hard Choices</a></li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdpIKXLLYYM" target="_blank">Nigel Marsh: How to Make Work-Life Balance Work</a></li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b28brIs1OmM" target="_blank">Leila Hoteit: 3 Lessons on Success from an Arab Businesswoman</a></li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guXxy8LH2QM" target="_blank">Jason Shen: When Looking for a Job?
